A four-bedroom, two-bathroom detached house on the street was recently valued between £360k and £539k, while several flats in the area have been valued at £396-£594k.
Great Western Road is right next to Westbourne Park Tube station, serviced by the Circle and Hammersmith and City Lines.
It’s also in walking distance of some of the city’s best pubs, bars and restaurants, including Ottolenghi Notting Hill, Rococo-styled Beach Blanket Babylon, and iconic Notting Hill health food restaurant Farm Girl.
The properties are near enough to Portobello Road to enjoy all it has to offer, but far enough that residents won’t be hounded by tourists every day.
It’s close to Hyde Park and Holland Park for some lovely walking options, and in amongst some beautiful architecture if you’d rather wander the streets.

The only downside is that the street runs directly under the A40, but with the right double glazing (and knowledge of all the money you’ve saved), this most likely won’t be too much of a drawback.
